Funding

If you are a student and you require help with funding there are two organisations in the UK that may be able to assist:

The Homeopathy Action Trust (HAT) offer £150 grants for books and £500 grants for course fees - sometimes more. You will need to contact them for their application.

HAT runs an annual bursary awards scheme for second year students and above. You need to be a student member of HAT to have the opportunity to apply for a grant of £500 towards course fees, rising to £1000 for successful applications that are deemed by the HAT panel to be of exceptional quality. This bursary is paid directly to The School of Homeopathy towards your course fees.

In addition, HAT members who are ?rst year student onwards, will be eligible for a book grant of £150 towards the books they require for their course syllabus. These are available twice over the duration of their course. Applicants for both grants and bursaries will be required to submit a reference from con?rming their attendance on our course and suitability for the respective bursary or grant.

HAT bursary awards scheme opens on 1st April each year, and runs until 30th June. Book grant applications are processed throughout the year.

Alliance Register of Homeopaths
The Alliance Register of Homeopaths (ARH) offer five £1k grants a year to students in year 2-4 of the homeopathy course. Please contact them direct for more information.

Council education authority
It is also worth checking with your local education authority to see if they award discretionary grants. Alternatively, there are some charitable trusts who award funding based upon location. Another good source of information is your local library they carry books containing information on loans, grants, scholarships etc. Also, the Directory of Grant-Making Trusts may provide information of trusts that may provide financial help.
