The onset of symptoms is typically gradual and may follow exposure to cold, dry winds or suppression of catarrh. Kali bichromicum individuals may exhibit a feeling of impending doom and gloom.
2. Physical Symptoms
Kali bichromicum is commonly used for conditions associated with excessive production of yellow sticky nasal mucus which may become trapped in the sinuses. Headaches and migraines may be common. Hawking up of thick mucus may occur. Conjunctivitis.
3. Emotional and Mental Aspects
Kali bichromicum individuals may experience intense gloom, ill humour or low spirits. They may become antisocial.
4. Aggravations and Ameliorations
Symptoms associated with Kali bichromicum may worsen on eating with choking and hawking of tough mucus. They may feel better outside in the open air and worse in the early morning.
5. Modalities
Symptoms improve with warmth, movement and open air. Worse for undressing and in the morning. Particularly worse at 2-3 am. Worse for alcoholic drinks.
